Garlic Parmesan Hash Browns

1: Peel and cut the potatoes into big chunks.

2: Parboil the potatoes for 10 minutes in salt water.

3: Drain and set aside the potatoes.

4: Once the potatoes are cooled, grate them.

5: In a mixing bowl, add the grated potatoes.

6: Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

7: Add the egg and corn starch to the mixture.

8: Mix well and shape the mixture into oval shapes.

9: Place them onto parchment paper and freeze for 30 minutes.

10: In a pan, add oil over medium-high heat.

11: Fry the hash browns, cooking each side until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes per side.

12: Once cooked, remove from the pan and place on a cooling rack.

13: Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese and serve warm.
