Double Chocolate Banana Nut Bars

1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.

2: Place the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat and stir constantly until it turns golden brown.

3: Transfer the browned butter to a heatproof bowl to cool.

4: Add cocoa powder, oil, vanilla, and chopped chocolate to the cooled butter and mix until smooth.

5: In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and light brown sugar until dissolved.

6: Add powdered sugar and mix until combined.

7: Incorporate the butter mixture into the egg mixture.

8: Mash the bananas and add to the mixture along with flour, chocolate chips, and walnuts. Mix well.

9: Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, top with additional walnuts and chocolate if desired.

10: Bake for 33 minutes or until the top is shiny and a toothpick comes out with crumbs.

11: Cool in the pan for 1-2 hours before cutting.
