Crinkle Top Fudgy Brownies

1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.

2: Place the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir and scrape every 10 seconds until it turns golden brown.

3: Add cocoa powder, oil, vanilla, and chopped chocolate to the cooled browned butter. Mix until melted.

4: In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and light brown sugar for 5-6 minutes until combined.

5: Add powdered sugar to the egg mixture and mix for another 1-2 minutes.

6: Combine the browned butter mixture with the egg mixture, then add flour and chocolate chips. Mix well.

7: Transfer the batter to the prepared baking dish and bake for 30-35 minutes until shiny. Test with a toothpick.

8: Cool in the pan for 1-2 hours before cutting with a warm, sharp knife.
