A creamy mushroom pasta dish made with butter, garlic, Parmesan or mozzarella cheese, and spinach, perfectly seasoned with red chili flakes and topped with a smooth sauce.
Cook pasta in a large pot per package directions, making sure to add ½ tsp salt to the water. Once done, drain pasta and put back in the large pot.
In a large saucepan, melt butter over low medium-low heat. Once butter is melted, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Add sliced mushrooms and spinach; cook for another one minute.
Add heavy whipping cream, whisk until nice and smooth. Add salt, pepper, and red chili flakes. Add chicken bouillon cube (don’t add additional salt if adding bouillon cube) and some pasta water if the sauce gets too thick.
Add cheese and let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes, continuing to whisk frequently while simmering.
Once the sauce is done, pour over noodles, stir well, and serve.
