Flaky cheese stuffed paratha glazed with garlic butter, made with all-purpose flour, mozzarella cheese, and a garlic butter glaze. Perfect for a delicious and comforting meal.
In a bowl add all purpose flour, salt and sugar. Mix until well combined.
Pour milk into the flour. Mix with your hands until it begins to form one mass of dough.
Knead the dough in the bowl until all the flour is incorporated.
If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour, or if too dry, add a little more milk to make a smooth ball.
Leave the dough for 30 minutes covered.
After dough has rested, divide into equal portions.
Roll out dough as thin as possible, sprinkling flour as needed to prevent sticking.
Spread some butter across the surface of the rolled-out dough.
Starting from the top, roll the dough sheet until it is coiled into one long snake.
Coil each end of the dough log inward until they meet at the center, then fold the two coils onto each other and press together firmly.
Rest the dough ball for an additional 10-15 minutes, covered.
On a lightly floured surface with a rolling pin, roll each coiled dough ball into a circle about 8 inches.
Place shredded mozzarella cheese on half side of the rolled dough and close it with the other half, pressing the ends to close the paratha.
Preheat a cast iron skillet and turn the heat to medium low.
Place the paratha on the skillet and flip the side after 3 minutes.
Cook for another 3 minutes on the other side.
Add olive oil and cook on both sides for an additional 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Spread garlic butter on top and serve warm.
